Skim Coat

Powerhold Skim Coat is a high quality, cement-based compound designed to skim coat, smooth and level irregularities from featheredge up to 1⁄2″. Rapidly sets to install most floor coverings in as little as 15-20 minutes, with exceptional performance. Skim Coat has superior bond strength. For most applications, the use of a primer is not required. Excellent for use over most substrates and provides a suitable surface for even the most demanding floor coverings, such as VCT, sheet vinyl, etc. Ideal product for use as an embossing leveler when mixed with a patch additive (embossing applications require a patch additive. No patch additive is required if surface has been primed with “X” primer).
